Check out Goat Island at the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk
Goats stay here until November to clear the brush. They share the space with ducks, peacocks, and pelicans. Legend has it this was once a popular pirate hangout. With plenty of restaurants on the Marsh Walk nearby, it’s a perfect spot for a pre-dinner visit.
Visit The Market Common
Joggers will love getting their run on at Market Common. It’s an active, friendly community with residential property as well as window-shopping worthy storefronts and restaurants. Dog-friendly, too, with doggie water fountains!
Visit the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade
A fairly new addition to the Myrtle Beach scene, the Boardwalk & Promenade is an awesome place for a beach experience without getting sand in your shoes! It’s a 1-mile walk. Dogs are welcome after Labor Day. Plenty of awesome spots for selfies, too.
Visit the Pier at Garden City
Catch a gorgeous ocean view with live music in the evening. This iconic place in Myrtle Beach holds wonderful memories for some visitors and will be the site for others’ too. Cast a line from the pier, if that’s your thing. There are even cutting tables and sinks for your catch.
