Guests at The Breakers Now Have a Great New Game-Day Option: Legends Sports Pub & Grille

When sports fans staying at The Breakers Resort on the Myrtle Beach oceanfront want to catch the big game with like-minded sports enthusiasts, they won’t have to venture far from the property to find the perfect setting. That’s because a premium new sports bar has opened up just blocks down North Ocean Boulevard from the resort — and it can even be reached via a short, 10-minute walk down the beach.
Located at 1410 North Ocean Boulevard in THEBlvd oceanfront entertainment complex, Legends Sports Pub & Grille is Myrtle Beach’s newest sports bar. And offering some welcome news for sports fans staying at The Breakers, it’s located right on the beach less than a half-mile south of the resort.
The Space
The newly opened Legends is located in the 55,000-square-foot, three-story THEBlvd complex, which it shares with a fun foursome of neighboring businesses: restaurant/bar/music venue Tin Roof, Mexican restaurant/tequila bar Banditos Cantina, and popular coffee shop Starbucks.
Inside Legends itself, there’s a full bar, a kitchen cooking up all the traditional game-day grub (and more), and new flat-screen TVs installed from wall to wall so that guests can catch all the live sports action. And with the beach and Atlantic Ocean right out back, it’s also a great place to take in beautiful oceanfront views before, after and even during the big game.
The Menu
Legends offers a full food menu that’s heavy on game-time favorites, with highlights including its tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs, 100% beef burgers that are cooked to order and fresh chicken wings with 15 made-from-scratch sauce options. Some of the highlights on the food menu include:
- A long list of appetizers including fried pickles, giant pretzels served with three dipping sauces, homemade potato chips, French fries, tater tots, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, quesadillas and nachos
- Fall-Off-the-Bone Ribs served by the half slab and full slab
- Bone-in Legendary Wings (jumbo breaded) and Traditional Wings (fresh jumbo) served with a choice of 15 wing sauces (or plain) and accompanied by ranch or bleu cheese for dipping
- Boneless wings served with a choice of 15 wing sauces (or plain) and accompanied by ranch or bleu cheese for dipping
- Soups and salads including chili, the BLT House Salad, the Buffalo Chicken Salad, Caesar salad and taco salad
- Burgers, Sandwiches and Wraps like the Boardwalk Burger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Clemson Tiger Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Gamecock Chicken Caesar Wrap, Philly Cheese Steak, Shrimp Po’ Boy and Legendary Reuben
- Dinners such as the Boom Boom Shrimp dinner, Buffalo Chicken Platter, Signature Strip Steak, Fish Dinner and Captain’s Platter
