Do You Have Toddlers? Try This for Fun in Myrtle Beach

Bringing little ones to Myrtle Beach shouldn’t be a negative thing.

They’re your bundles of joy, after all. And there are plenty of fun things to do when you have little ones. You have to know where to find them.

Here’s a list of activities your family will love on the Grand Strand.

How many things in Myrtle Beach can you do with toddlers?

You don’t have to go see a movie and hope your toddler zonks out! Here are a handful of things to get into, toddler-first.

1. Go to Brookgreen Gardens’ Lowcountry Zoo

If your kids request a “more!”, return tomorrow. Your ticket is good for a week!

WHAT IS IT?

A section of Brookgreen Gardens with animals native to the Lowcountry. Plus, a butterfly pavilion!

WHY TODDLERS WILL LOVE IT

What child doesn’t like to see all the animals? Also, kids can experience cool periodic exhibits, such as one on dinosaurs or Dr. Seuss’ books.

2. Rockin’ Jump Myrtle Beach Trampoline Park

Take your tots off your shoulders and let them burn off steam!

WHAT IS IT?

It’s a bouncin’ entertainment center that appeals to kids of all ages. Choose from programs such as family flight, rockin’ tots, and sensory mornings.

WHY TODDLERS WILL LOVE IT

It’s a wonderful way to let loose and be a kid, especially when that child has had to behave for other activities! Spending that time with parents and siblings is also a plus.

After you’re all leaped out, grab lunch of a snack at the RJ Cafe. If there’s an afternoon nap in your toddler’s plans, get them a little food first.

3. WonderWorks Myrtle Beach

If kids chose something fun by committee, WonderWorks would be a unanimous choice!

WHAT IS IT?

It’s where education and entertainment mix. There are tons of exhibits to challenge curiosity. There’s mesmerizing fun to find in features such as the Light & Sound Zone and Imagination Lab.

WHY TODDLERS WILL LOVE IT

They can play and learn. If you have older kids, they have their own exhibits to enjoy. You can slow down and watch your toddler experiment at their own pace, their own way.

Check out the sand table on the fourth floor. Little ones love it, and parents are pretty big fans of it, too.

4. EdVenture Myrtle Beach

Hit this spot right after nap time for a fun afternoon of discovery.

WHAT IS IT?

It’s not a good place for toddlers — it’s the PERFECT place for toddlers. If there was a place to broadcast that far and wide, we would. Exhibits here are for little bodies with big imaginations.

WHY TODDLERS WILL LOVE IT

Kids control their entertainment, from a micro space climber to a mini grocery store. There’s even a flight simulator for tiny tykes and an under-construction house!

Check the calendar of events for toddler time hours, but any time is a great one to visit. If you’ve been to the old location, wait until you see how cool the new spot is, in Market Common.

5. Savannah’s Playground

It’s no stretch to say that this might be the coolest playground ever.

WHAT IS IT?

It’s an enabling playground that features Americans with Disabilities Act-approved equipment. It’s quite an amazing place!

WHY TODDLERS WILL LOVE IT

There’s SO MUCH TO DO. So much of it will entice their curiosity and desire to let loose and have fun. There are so many choices, it has shaded areas for comfort, and is a fenced-in property.
