For a limited time, Breakers Resort in downtown Myrtle Beach is offering country music fans the chance of a lifetime to see some of the biggest names in country music and save big bucks. Guests can save up to 40 percent off their room rate through our special ticket packages, allowing visitors to experience the ultimate Myrtle Beach vacation along with the concert event of the summer while saving big bucks.

After playing to crowds of more than 30,000 in each of the first two years, the Carolina Country Music Festival looks to blow the roof off in 2017 – literally speaking, of course, since the outdoor venue on the former Pavilion site overlooks the scenic Atlantic Ocean. Two stages provide non-stop music for four days and allow patrons to explore the concert grounds, check out the food, drink and souvenir vendors, or take a break from the show and go for a stroll to the beach.

The Carolina Country Music Festival gets under way with a kickoff concert on Thursday night, June 8, followed by three full days of music and fun in the Myrtle Beach sun. The headliner for the kickoff show is still to be announced, as are most of the acts scheduled to play throughout the weekend. The CCMF has proven it delivers a popular and diverse lineup, as the headliners for the 2017 event indicate.

The most anticipated act for 2017 is South Carolina's own Darius Rucker, a three-time Grammy Award winner and Country Music Artist of the Year. Rucker, whose breakthrough rock band Hootie & The Blowfish used to play small clubs in Myrtle Beach back before they hit it big in the mid-1990s, has experienced enormous crossover success into the country genre. His No. 1 hits with “Alright”, “Wagon Wheel”, “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It” and “It Won’t Be Like This For Long”.

As the eight-time Entertainer of the Year Award winner, Chesney brings his high-energy show to the shore of Myrtle Beach – a fitting spot for his band of faithful followers known as the No Shoes Nation. Chesney’s 28 chart-topping hits include “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems”, “American Kids”, “When the Sun Goes Down”, “Save It For A Rainy Day” and “Anything But Mine”.

Aldean, who is ranked by RIAA as the top digital country music artist of all-time, will perform his hits and perhaps the theme song for this year's showcase – “A Little More Summertime”. Aldean's rising stardom recently reached new heights with the release of his seventh studio album “They Don’t Know”, which debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts. Fellow Georgia native Kip Moore was also recently added to the lineup, but the full schedule is still to be announced.

Tickets for the Carolina Country Music Festival are going fast, and so are the 40 percent off specials on our clean, comfortable accommodations in the downtown district. Located about a 1-mile stroll down the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk or Ocean Boulevard from the concert grounds, the Breakers welcomes country music fans to enjoy all the music and the outstanding amenities of our first-class resort.

Start your day with breakfast overlooking the sun rising over the ocean, take a dip in one of our many indoor/outdoor pools and water attractions, and relax on the beach or our spacious tanning lawn before heading to the CCMF. After the show, chill out on your private balcony overlooking the ocean and get a good night’s sleep before waking up and doing it all over again the next day. That’s the Breakers Resort way to enjoy the full concert experience.
