OK, this one requires a longer drive from Myrtle Beach than any of the other activities on our list — but the thrill factor is truly sky high. Roller Coaster Riding
Located just 2 miles south of The Breakers at 300 South Ocean Boulevard, Family Kingdom Amusement Park is home to the Swamp Fox Roller Coaster, which features 2,400 feet of all-wooden track, plus offers ocean views at its tallest points. Just a few of the other thrill rides at the park include the Log Flume Water Ride, the Tilt-A-Whirl and the Thunderbolt.
