Breakers Resort Overview

For more than 80 years the Breakers Resort has been helping guests make Myrtle Beach vacation memories, and now the resort is even bigger and better than ever.

Occupying three buildings on Ocean Boulevard in the downtown district, the Breakers Resort Myrtle Beach has recently completed a series of renovations to improve both the accommodations and the amenities on the property. The Boutique North Tower, Palms Tower and Paradise Tower feature luxurious units ranging from one-bedroom efficiencies to three-bedroom suites.

The Breakers spared no expense in upgrading and updating many its in-room facilities. Restrooms in all the buildings now have granite tile countertops and flooring, new pillows and wireless Internet access. Private balconies and full kitchens with all the creature comforts of home make the resort the perfect place for parties of all sizes to enjoy a family vacation, a couples retreat or a golf getaway.

In addition to the Breakers’ many amenities, including an enormous pool deck with indoor/outdoor swimming pools, Jacuzzis, a kiddie aquatic playground and a 418-foot lazy river, the resort added new pavers that allow guests to move easily between towers. The pool decks feature new chaise lounge chairs, umbrellas and tables, the Pirates Cove and Red Parrot bars and grills, and the updated fitness center has all new equipment, including treadmills, elliptical machines and stationary bikes.

The Breakers' downtown location gives guests easy access to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, a 1.2-mile walkway with access to the beach, open-air cafes and shops, and all the top downtown attractions, like the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, Family Kingdom amusement and water parks and the free fireworks shows from Second Avenue Pier. Broadway at the Beach and Market Common are only short drives away, and the Breakers has a wide range of golf packages for golf courses in Myrtle Beach and all over the Grand Strand. The Breakers is also offering a free shuttle service to and from the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
