After a fun-filled day of vacationing, guests at The Breakers Resort are looking to chow down. Many are craving a great-tasting burger that can quash the most robust of appetites. Here are our guests’ choices for the 10 best burger spots near The Breakers:

Rusty Reel Oceanfront Bar & Grill: Located right on The Breakers premises, the Rusty Reel makes its burgers your way with all the fixings. Have one every day of your stay to liberate yourself from your boring diet.

Bummz Beach Cafe: Located right next door to The Breakers, Bummz serves its burgers all day and night! Take your taste buds to school with feature burgers including the Southern Burger (topped with chili, slaw and raw onions) and the Bummz Burger (topped with bacon, slaw, mushrooms, Swiss cheese and provolone cheese).

River City Cafe: Come give one of these fresh, never frozen, bigger, better burgers a try. River City offers so many burger choices, and they all taste so good. Among the World Famous Burgers filling the menu are the California Pizza Burger, the Three Alarm Fireburger and the Peanut Butter Burger. The restaurant also offers turkey burgers and chicken burgers, and you can customize your own delicious Prime-Angus Burger. You gotta see this place to believe it.

Fuddruckers: Here, you’ll get a 100% all-American, premium-cut, vegetarian-fed beef burger grilled to order and placed atop a fresh-baked bun ready for you to pile on almost any topping you can imagine. Walk on the wild side and sample the Fudd's Exotic Burgers, which include the Buffalo, Elk, and Wild Boar burgers.

Magnolia’s at 26th: Walk on over to this restaurant, located only a few blocks away, and enjoy a hamburger or cheeseburger made the Magnolia’s way. Get your appetite cranked up and dive into one of their juicy double cheeseburgers or mouthwatering bacon cheeseburgers.

John’s Restaurant: John’s offers a tasty variety of well-seasoned, flame-broiled burgers that you can get any way you like. There’s not much healthy about these burgers, but they’re just the way guests at The Breakers like them: big, juicy and cheesy. John’s is just a short walk away and ready to serve you immediately.

Dirty Don’s Oyster Bar & Grill: Here, you can take on the Barnacle Bill's Burger or the fantastic Mary’s Mushroom Swiss Burger loaded with 'shrooms and smothered with Swiss cheese. The Cheddar Jalapeno Burger has just enough kick to make you walk the plank. Fans of The Breakers are definite fans of Dirty Don’s.

ART Burger Sushi Bar: ART offers a range of splendid burgers that cater to the carnivore and the vegetarian. Beef standards like the ART Burger and the Rockwell All-American are big hits, but specialty burgers like the Munch (involving a ground beef patty, thickly-sliced roasted pork belly, whole-grain mustard, a fried egg and cheddar cheese) and the Rembrandt (featuring a ground beef patty seared in duck fat, mushroom confit, manchego cheese and Dijon mustard) also hold their own. Pork, tuna, chicken and black bean burgers are served as well.

Carolina Roadhouse: Take the quick trip to this lively eatery and feast on some of the best burgers in town. Menu favorites include the American Burger and the Monster Burger, either of which can satisfy nearly any appetite.

Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville: This tropics-themed chain features handcrafted burger choices cooked to order with signature seasonings. Guests' favorites include the Cheeseburger in Paradise and the Rancho Deluxe Burger. Other Margaritaville burger features include the Black & Bleu Burger (topped with applewood-smoked bacon, chunky bleu cheese dressing, lettuce and sliced tomato) and the Volcano Burger (topped with volcano chili, lava cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, guacamole and Fritos original corn chips). Breakerheads and Parrotheads unite.
